Howard C. Banta, 55, Eminence, died at 2:40 p.m. Saturday at King's Daughters Hospital, Shelbyville, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Henry County six weeks ago.
Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Maude Rucker Banta; four daughters: Mrs. Russell Perry, Waddy, Miss Helen Banta and Mrs. James Peterson, both of Eminence and Mrs. Donald Roberts, New Castle; three sons: Oliver P. Banta, Christianburg, Gilbert Banta, Shelbyville and Issac Banta, Pleasureville; his mother: Mrs. Minnie Banta, Gratz and a sister: Mrs. Lelia Mae O'Brien, Gratz.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Union Church in Henry County.
