HAMILTON

Howard B. Hamilton, twin brother of Dr. Hugh Hamilton, and son of A. Boyd Hamilton, Esq., of this city, died at Philadelphia on Saturday, aged 40 years, after a long and painful sickness. Mr. Hamilton has resided in Philadelphia for sixteen years, most of which time he was in the general office of the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad. He married a daughter of Colonel Samuel.C. Harbert, of New Jersey, and leaves one son to mourn his loss. He was highly esteemed both in this city and Philadelphia, and his death though not unexpected was deeply regretted in both cities. He was a gentleman of wide information and kind and amiable disposition. The notice of the time and place of the funeral will be found elsewhere in this paper.
