About Hubert Leroy Webber
Birth: Mar. 7, 1920 Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada Death: Oct. 8, 2003 Littleton Middlesex County Massachusetts, USA He was the husband of Isabelle 'Tiny' (Hunter) Webber and he was the son of the late Arthur and Isabelle (Whitman) Webber. He grew up in Newfoundland and Cambridge and was a 1938 graduate of Rindge Tech. He has made his home in Littleton since 1949. He worked briefly as a supervisor in A & P Stores. For 37 years he worked as a salesman for Borden Food Co. After his retirement he worked as a custodian for the town of Littleton in the Littleton High School for seven years, and the Rueben Hoar Library for five years. He served in the South Pacific in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan, an amateur photographer, astronomer, fisherman and woodworker. He was actively, involved in the Congregational Church in both Littleton and Boxborough and was a member of the Tahattawan Masonic Lodge AF & AM of Littleton. Besides his wife of 54 years he is survived by three children, Sandra Webber of Williamstown, Susan Webber of Hudson, N.H. and Wendy and her husband Tim Smith of Jamaica Plain; one granddaughter and two sisters-in-laws, Carolyn Webber of Sharon and Ruby Hunter of Johnson, Vt. (Littleton Independent - Oct. 16, 2003) He had dementia.
