Hugh Henry Adams was a known Methodist minister,preaching at the Cochrane St Church, Liverpool from 1990. Hugh was his paternal grandfathers name & Henry his maternal grandfathers name hence Hugh Henry.Occupation 1875 Carter,1880-91 provision Warehousman,1892 Marine Store Dealer,1910 Dentist Agent.In1875 lived at 10 St Andews St, in 1876 14 Letterstone St Everton,in1880 10 Tamworth St South South Toxteth,in 1890 55 Thomaston St North,in 1891. 15a St Domingo Rd Everton,in 1910 94 St Domingo Vale Everton. The death of HH Adams was reported by Chocrane St church to the independent Methodist magazine in May1924, rather belatedly,as the account showes: We regret very much the passing of our friend H H Adamswho passed away suddenly last December. He preached for us on the Sunday previous.On the following Tuesday he had difficulty getting home from his employment and died a few hours later. He had served Liverpool Churches very faithfully for 30 years and will be much missed.
