His inquisition post mortem, dated 4 November 1491, states he died 20 March 1491, and that his heirs were his sisters, Margaret Rich, aged 20 years and more, wife of Thomas Rich of London, mercer, and Katherine Browne, aged 18 years or more, wife of William Browne of London, mercer.
