Hulda Walter

Mrs. Walter passed away Tuesday morning, February 17, 1998 at the Bay Shores Nursing Care Center in Bay City after a brief illness, age 93 years. Hulda was born August 15, 1904, the daughter of the late Andrew and Christina (Feinauer) Schwab in Frankenlust Twp., Bay Co., and had resided in this area all of her life. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Monitor, its Ladies Aid and Auxiliary, AAL, and the Auburn Area Senior Citizens. On October 5, 1924, she married Louis J. Walter, he predeceased her.

She is survived by four children and their spouses: Luella (Oscar) lttner, Rosilyn (Harlan) Taglauer, all of Auburn, Lyle (Alice) Walter, Alice (John) Rivet, all of Bay City; 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; a special niece, Loretta (Edgar) Wegener and families and the families of the late Velma Behmlander. Funeral and Committal Services will be held 11:00 AM. Friday, February 20, 1998 from Trinity Lutheran Church of Monitor. Rev. Norman Aman will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery, Bay City. Hulda's family will receive friends at the AUBURN CHAPEL of the Cunningham -Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 P.M., on Thursday from 2:00-9:00 P.M., and then at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy, envelopes for Trinity Lutheran Church of Monitor Endowment Fund and the donor's favorite charity will be available at the funeral home.
