IDA M. CHRISTEL

Mrs. Isidore H. Christel, 85, of 620 St. Paul St., Kiel, died this morning at St. Nicholas Hospital. She had been a patient there three weeks. The former Ida Jerger (sic)was born March 21, 1882, at School Hill, daughter of the late Gregory and Augusta Harlfinger Jerger. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic School in School Hill. On Oct. 11, 1904, she was married to Isidore Christel at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The couple moved to Valders, later to Brillion and in May, 1933, to Kiel, where Mr. Christel established a clothing store. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and its Christian Mothers Society. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Erma) Biederwolf, Brillion, and Mrs. Norman (Edna) Orth, Kiel, nine sons, Victor of Manitowoc, Roman of Sheboygan, Arnold of New Holstein, John of LaCrosse, and Lawrence, Eugene, Raymond, James and Ormer, all of Kiel; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A son preceded her in death.
