About Ida Caroline Proctor-Beauchamp

Ida Caroline Proctor-Beauchamp was born circa 1859. She was the daughter of Sir Thomas William Brograve Proctor-Beauchamp, 4th Bt. and Hon. Catherine Esther Waldegrave. She married Colonel Robert Henry Curzon Drury-Lowe on 6 October 1891. She died on 12 December 1951. Her married name became Drury-Lowe.

The Peerage

Ida was 5'8" tall, of fair complexion, and had blue eyes and a mole on her right temple, at 52 she had white hair.

On Jan 30th 1907 she sailed from Liverpool for Orlando Florida with Sydney Robert Drury-Lowe. She was 52 years old and a widow, he was 35 and a single Commander in the Royal Navy. The boat was set to reach US on 8 Feb 1907. This was the second trip to the US for both people, Ida previously went in 1899 and Sydney in 1902.
