About Indian Burt Ochiho

Mohave/Paiute; the grandson of the Indian warrior Chief Ochiho who fought in the final Indian conflicts of California, Oregon, and Nevada. These individuals and their families often lived on reservation such as the one at Ft. Bidwell.

He and his then wife Zelma were arrested in the murder of Edison Duffy, a 50 year old ex-con.
Edison's background can be researched at (his sister). It seems that Edison was not missed in his community, to say the least.

Zelma, on her part was no angel. Implicated in three shooting deaths over two decades, for which she was sent to trial, she was convicted and sent to prison for the last.
