Guttorm Östmansson var gift med Ingrid Guttormsdtr., datter af Guttorm Åsulfsson til Rein og Eldrid Jonsdtr. Guttorm Åsulfssons mor var Tora Skoftesdtr, som var Ragnhild Erlingsdtr.'s sonnesons datter. Ragnhild var datter af en sonneson til kong Harald Hårfager.

The Saga of King Sverre records that King Sverre arranged the marriage of "his sister Cecilia" to "Bard Guthormsson of Rein"[243], dated from the context to just after the death of King Magnus [15 Jun 1184]. m thirdly RAGNDID Erlingsdotter .
