MARRIAGE NOTICE. Feilding Star. 9 August, 1907. Mr. Joseph H. Strawbridge, son of Mr. Thomas Strawbridge, of Awahari, was married at St. Joseph's Church, Buckle Street, Wellington, on Wednesday afternoon, to Miss Irene Pearce, daughter of Constable G. Pearce, officer in charge of the Brooklyn Police district. The bride was attended by her sister (Miss Dossie Pearce). Mr. J. Strawbridge, brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father McCarthy, S.M. A reception was held at Godber's rooms, Cuba Street.
