Isaac Spofford Adams

Isaac was the son of Samuel Adams of Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts and Lucy Spofford Adams of Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts. Lucy and Samuel were married on 09 July 1773 in Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts. Lucy and Samuel had twelve children. They were: Eliphalet Adams was born on 10 February 1775 in Rindge, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Isaac Adams was born on 18 November 1776 in Jaffrey or Rindge, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Sally Adams was born on 12 January 1779 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Samuel Adams was born on 16 August 1782 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Lucy Adams was born on 23 January 1785 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Mary Adams was born on 05 January 1787 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Isreal Adams was born on 27 January 1790 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Jacob Adams was born on 21 September 1791 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Elizabeth Adams was born on 24 March 1794 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; David Adams was born on 09 August 1796 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Louisa Adams was born on 03 March 1799 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; and Jonathan Adams was born on 08 October 1801 in Jaffrey, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.

Isaac was married twice. Isaac married Deborah Twitchell in 1800 in Possibly New Hampshire, or Oxford County, Maine. Deborah and Isaac had one child. Eliphalet Adams was born on 28 January 1801 in Possibly New Hampshire. Deborah and Eliphalet were both drowned in the Androscoggin River in Gilead, Oxford County, Maine. She was thirty-one years old when she died. Eliphalet was two years old. After his family was drowned Isaac decided to marry again soon, which he did. Isaac married Olive Wight on 03 August 1803 in Dublin, Cheshire County, New Hampshire. Olive and Isaac had nine children. They were: Eliphalet Adams was born on 23 February 1804; Darius Adams was born on 01 April 1805; Samuel Adams was born on 19 December 1806; Deborah Adams was born on 23 March 1808; Lucy Adams was born on 09 January 1810; Apphia Adams was born on 03 October 1811; Isaac Adams was born on 23 July 1813; Israel Adams was born on 26 May 1815; and Olive Adams was born on 31 October 1818. All the children were born in Gilead, Oxford County, Maine.
