Isaac came to Utah with his family. They left from Liverpool to Castle Gardens NY. The trav elled by train up the Hudson River on the east side, to Buffalo. They crossed a suspension b ridge and by train travelled to the midwest (Florence, Nebraska) to leave for Utah. John Fox records show Isaac a nd Lucy being married 22 Sep 1881- From Norine Fox Family Record Bk#1 - bapt and conf by I.W . Fox 23 Nov 1857 - ordained a High Priest by S.L. Chipman, 8 Jan 1911 - ordained a Seventy b y Shadrack Empey 14 May 1876 - m. to Lucy Hartley by John M. Winden in the Salt Lake Temple 1 8 Sep 1895 - endowed at the EHous 22 Sep 1876 -( served three missions, two to the Sandwich I slands and the third to Iosepha, Skull Valley, Utah to Hawaiin people. Called to serve a fou rth mission but released when the Seventy in Salt Lake found out he had three previous missio ns - honorable release from the fourth mission in possession of Russ Felt) - migrated from Gl asgow - occupation was farming - loved music (instrumental in the pipe organ purchase for th e Lehi Tabernacle and organized a brass band in Hawaii) - died of Erysipelas 29 Apr 1934 -Fu neral Service 1 May 1934: vocal solo, Mrs May Salt, Prayer Pres. A humorous account of case that Isaac Fox had to arbite on Oahu in 1885 regarding some stoc k and who they belonged too. The letter is signed by Prest. J.F. Smith and is in the Russ Fe lt collection. Isaac was President of Oahu from April to October of 1885 odained a 70, 14 May 1876 by Shadrack Empey, ordained High Priest 8 Jan 1910 by Pres. Stephe n L.
