Isaac Hockett

As of 17 January 1791, Isaac Hockett was also known as Hoggatt. He was the son of Stephen Hoggatt and Margaret Thornburg. On the 12th day, 6th month, 1806(12 June 1806), at Miami Monthly Meeting in Warren County, Ohio,, he was received on certificate from New Garden Monthly Meeting, North Carolina with his parents, Stephen and Margaret Hockett.

He married Sarah Frazier, daughter of Francis Frazier and Elizabeth Stanley, in Clinton County, Ohio, on 10 July 1812.5,6 Isaac became a widower at his wife's death on 10 August 1836.

He married Sarah WHEELER Davis in Randolph County, Indiana, on 25 October 1837.

Isaac died on 12 February 1872 in Hardin County, Iowa, at age 81.8
