About Isaac Schocken

                                       Hermann Schocken (Introduction to a family album)

Zwickau, Sachsen an Erew Jom Kippur 1924

In English:

I would like to dedicate some last words to our beloved father. I would like to say, how highly we admired him as a man, and a father. I cannot find a better words as to say:

He was a man believed in God, he was a jew who had god in his heart;

That means honesty, justice, love of one's family, love of people and love with belief in God.

Let's all, his sons, his grandchildren, and the nest generation make his love as an example, so that we will set an example to our people, to our family and for ourselves.

                                                                                  Herman Schocken

Zwickau, Sachsen, eve of Yom Kippur 1924.
