  • She was born on 4 July 1846 in New York, New York, and her father, William Clarke, was born in Litchfield County, Connecticut. her late husband, Francis B. Forbes, was born in New York. Francis had resided in China from 1868 to 1878.
  • Her permanent residence was at 114 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts.
  • For her current journey she planned to go to the British Isles and France (to visit with relatives), and to Switzerland and Italy for travel. She would depart from the Port of New York aboard the ship Orbita on 22 September 1923.
  • She was 77 years old; was 5-feet tall; had a low forehead, brown eyes, a straight nose and mouth, a round chin, gray hair, an oval face, and a fair complexion.
