About Isabella Fredricka Marr
The Genealogical Institute of South Africa lists two daughters of Gottfried BORCHER and Anna HITZEROTH with the name Isabella Fredrika, one born in 1849, and the other in 1850. Presumably the elder Isabella preceded her sister in death and the name was recycled for the newborn. (Source: Borcher PDF - GISA)
The National Archives of South Africa has a gravestone for an Isabella Fredericka MARR nee BORCHER which would presumably refer to the younger sister:
Isabella Fredericka Marr, nee Borcher. Died 12-09-1923. Buried in the Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery, Main Road, Observatory, Cape Town.
