About Isabelle Elizabeth Cadwallader
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/209961701/isabelle-e.-cadwallader
Isabelle was a double cousin to my dad. The families were very close and lived in southern CA, so visiting was often and full of fun. She was a very good cook and made delicious dinners with fine china and sterling silver. She collected antiques and was interested in genealogy when she was older.
Many of the photos, letters, and charts of our families were begun by Isabelle. Her daughter, Letitia, handed the boxes of information to me upon her passing and I am doing my part to continue the work to connect our ancestors.
Isabelle was an independent female in the early 1900s. She loved flying and became one of the first women pilots to fly in San Bernardino, CA. She was also an executive administrator in Long Beach, CA and had the opinion that there were no bounds that could keep a strong woman from achieving what she desired.
She was also strong on manner, respect, and being a gracious hostess in her home. I loved going to visit her because she was so kind and respectful towards everyone. She was a great cook and provided lovely feasts on holidays when we visited.
