About Jabin Strong
Jabin Strong (son of Ezra and Abigail Strong of Hebron, Ct.) b. Aug. 12, 1734, m. Betsey Curtis: a farmer at Easthampton, Ct. She d. in 1782 and he m. for 2d wife, a widow Mrs. Grover. He traveled largely through the west when it was a wilderness filled with Indians, and went accidentally over Niagara Falls without being killed. He d. about 1816, aged 80 and more.
