Brief overview:

Jackson (35), died instantly and his unidentified colleague was rushed to Louis Trichardt Hospital in a serious condition. "They were collecting money when three unknown suspects robbed them with pistols," said Ngoepe. The suspects escaped in a white Nissan Sentra registration NGY 131 GP.

The Tzaneen police launched a massive manhunt, for what appears to be two groups of armed robbers who had shot dead Fidelity guard Jackson Chabalala, and Louis George Siemens (62), in separate incidents on 3rd July. At Mahatlani village in Louis Trichardt, apparently a different gang of three heavily armed men, ambushed and killed Chabalala, who died instantly, and wounded his colleague, escaping with an undisclosed amount of money and the guard's pistols.
