About Jacob Keller Bittinger

Jacob Bittinger of Arendtsville was stricken while sweeping the pavement in front of his home on the last Saturday and died on Sunday aged 64 years, 6 months, and 17 days. Mr Bittinger was born in Franklin township and was a son of the late John Bittinger and has been living in Arendtsville for the past 30 years. He married Miss Kate Lupp, a daughter of the late John Lupp, who survives him, together with a step brother. William Bittinger, of Franklin township, and stepsister, Mrs Emma Hossler of Cashtown. The funeral was held Wednesday with services in Lutheran Church by Rev. D. T. Koser, interment in the Fairview Cemetery, Arendtsville.
