Later Daniel was acknowledged as the saudek (sandek) of one of Jacob's brothers, Abraham, who was born in 1838. The presumption is that Daniel was also the father of the rest of Sara's children. They were all born in the same town, every other year, in the late summer.

Both were born in Bohemia as were their parents. No children were recorded. Breton was in the lead mining area of Missouri. He worked in a dry goods store.

In the 1870 Census and in the 1880 Census his brother Abraham Block and his wife Sophia ran the same store in the same place. Their clerk in 1870 and 1880 was Adolph Fischer who married Celia Schwarzkopf in 1880. Celia was the daughter of Dora Block Schwarzkopf Berwin. She was Abraham and Jacob's sister.
