Signed 15 July 1817: John Reber, Conrad Dunkle, John Dunkle.
Witnessed by Sebastian Wittmer and Frederick Gutelius.

The Inventory of all goods and chattels, rights and credits which were of Killian Dunckle lists as part of the estate a cash amount paid to each child: In Money paid to my Son, Jacob Dunckle, the sum of $1,092.33 before the estate was settled.

The widow of Jacob Dunkle, Catharine Dunkle,
later married John Cottrider. According to the death date on the tombstone of Catharine Dunkel (1769-1806), the widow named Catharine in the Guardianship record was not Anna C. Shoemaker Dunckel. It is probable that Jacob married a 2nd wife, named Catherine, who survived him and remarried to John Cottrider.
