About Jacob (Jacob) Faust, Sr.
Jacob was born in Gernsheim, Hessen, Germany on October 25, 1819. He immigrated to Wisconsin and entered the port of New York on August 29, 1854. Jacob married Barbara Brown in Sheboygan County in 1855. After Barbara died, Jacob married Concessa Becker, and the couple had eight children together.
Jacob lived in Schleswig Township, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin where he farmed 80 acres. Jacob was also a skilled stone mason. The homestead farm is now owned by Melvin Faust, a great grandson of Jacob Faust.
