Jacob Garman, 61, formerly of Annamoose and Linton, died Wednesday Nov 7, 1973, at his home in Redding, California.
A son of John and Christina (Dockter) Garman, he was born in Anamoose, North Dakota in 1912 and moved to Linton at the age of seven. He grew up and received his education there and later moved to Redding.
He leaves his widow, the former Marwell Adams; four sons, Jake, Glen, Joe and Samuel.
Also his two brothers, Gottlieb, St Paul, Minnesota; and John, Bismarck, North Dakota; seven sisters, Mrs Jake Kummer, Oak Harbor, Washington; Mrs Gottlieb Kessler, Anamoose, North Dakota; Mrs William Nelson, Wapato, Washington; Emma Ryberg; Pauline Colquhoun and Betha Just, all of Bismarck; and Lydia Solomonson, Glendale, California; and three grandchildren. ~ Bismarck Tribune, Bismarck, North Dakota; November 8, 1973, Thursday.
