Son of Nathanael Green (b Nov. 4, 1707) and Mary Mott (b April 25, 1708), as per https://old.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=18944509

Jacob married his cousin Margaret (ca 1740-1802), the daughter of his uncle Jabez Greene and Susannah (Arnold) Greene, on March 26, 1761. They resided in Coventry and had six children: Polly Maria (1762-1832), Thomas (1767-1832), Jabez (ca 1770-1808), Margaret (1772-1786), Jacob Varnum (1773-1815), and Julia (d.1830).

Alice Ione Folsom: Captain Joseph Greene followed his younger brother, Major General Nathaniel Greene, to Boston and was in the Boston Tea Party.
