Jacob and Sarah Harmon went to Lincoln County, Kentucky in about 1783 from Montgomery County, Virginia. Here is there family;

Jacob Harmon, b. c 1730, Colebrookdale Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. d. aft 1801, probably Pulaski County, Kentucky. md Jun 1751 Sarah Lorton at Augusta County, Virginia. She was probably born about 1732/1734 as her youngest child Rachel was probably born about 1774 (she was a minor at her marriage in 1794). Sarah was still alive in 1801.

Their children were:

• 1.Israel Harmon, b. c1753, Montgomery Co, Virginia. d. aft1805, ?Livingston County, Ky. md Keziah Thompson, daughter of Thomas Thompson.
• 2.Jacob Harmon, b. 2 Mar 1755, Montgomery County, Virginia. d. 1839, Garrard County, Kentucky. md in about 1782, name unknown.
• 3.William Harmon, b. c 1757. d. c 1794, Pulaski County, Kentucky. md Jenny Gibson in about 1778.
• 4.Louisa Harmon, b. c 1760. md Jonathan Taylor of Lincoln County, Kentucky.
• 5.?child, b. c 1764.
• 6.John L. Harmon, b. c 1767. d. aft 1825, Pike Township, Marion County, Indiana. md Elizabeth Byrd on 16 Dec 1787 at Montgomery County, Virginia.
• 7.Valentine Harmon, b. c 1769. md Mary Thompson, daughter of Thomas Thompson in 1793 at Lincoln County, Kentucky.
• 8.Mary Harmon, b. c 1771. md James Baxter in 1799 at Lincoln County, kentucky.
• 9.Rachel Harmon, b. c 1774. md Joseph Horn in 1794 at Lincoln County, Kentucky.
