Web trees give Jacob a ridiculous number of children, many born before he was, so it is clear nobody truly knows which Houck children belong to him and which belong to siblings. Web trees also have Jacob marrying Margaretha Hershey in Frederick County, MD, at some point.
However, there is strong DNA evidence that at least one of Jacob's children, Sally Hite, was in fact also a close descendant of Lt. George Schaeffer, of Berks County, PA. The only way to do that would be for Jacob to have married a daughter of George and his first wife - Catharina Bieber. George married twice: the first time in Alsace, and the second in Berks County. Only one of the children born to George and Catharine in Alsace has ever been described - Johann George Jr., sometimes called "Peter" , his first-born son, born around 1744. We now know that he had a son Michael born in 1750 as well - about the time he arrived in Pennsylvania. I propose that there was also a daughter born in Alsace who married Jacob Houck before he left for Frederick County, Maryland.
If the Hershey marriage took place, it must have been after Jacob's daughter Sally (Sarah?) was born around 1785.
A common DNA overlap exists between these individuals:
Match No. 4 is descended from Jacob Houck and his wife Margaretha(?) Schaeffer.
