Jacob Howe

Born in Charlestown 24 Oct 1689, married (int. 20 Jan 1722) Eleanor Sherwin born 28 Jan 1696. They lived in Charlestown for a few years, and prior to 1725 moved to Stoneham. Some years later, they moved to Ipswich and settled in LInebrook Parish. She died there 11 Aug 1757. He married second 5 May 1759 Mrs. Sarah (Curtis) Holdgate, widow of Micah Holdgate, born 8 Jan 1712. He died 6 feb 1772.

The Abraham Howe who was married to Elizabeth ___ and had a son called Moses is discussed in Essex Co., Mass. Institute Historical Collections,"Some Descendants of Abraham Howe", page 56. Abraham was the son of Jacob Howe and Eleanor Sherwin, and died at 83 in 1808. Jacob Howe was the son of Isaac Howe (1656-ca 1717) of Roxbury, Mass.
