About Jacob Kirk

First Postmaster of Lewisberry, appointed 29 Nov 1815 Jacob Kirk served in the Legislature in 1836 with Thaddeus Stevens and was one of the brave men who voted against the resolution to investigate the Masonic order. He was also one of the first directors of the Northern Central railway and the first county superintendent of schools in York county.
