Jacob was the son of Archippus McCall and Deobrah Marsh.
On November 2, 1769 he married at Lebanon Lucy Rockwell, probably the daughter of Josiah and Lucy [Lathrop] Rockwell of Norwich, CT. The children of this couple were Jabez (1771-1810) and Josiah, who married Avis Catlin.
He died of Small Pox at age 30 years, and is said to be buried in seclusion in the nearby forest because of his disease. His gravestone is about 1 3/4 miles from the Goshen Cemetery on a hill in an east or southeasterly direction from the cemetery.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Oct 3 2023, 16:14:23 UTC
