4. TIMOTHY REED (George 2, William 1), born at Woburn 20 Oct. 1678, died 17 Oct. 1758. He married PERSIS KENDALL, born at Woburn 24 Aug. 1685, died 16 Sept. 1748, daughter of Jacob and Persis (Haywood) of Woburn.

Children, all born at Woburn:

i. Persis,4 b. 81 July 1711; m. at Woburn, 20 Feb. 1738, Jonathan Ghat.

ii. Timothy, b. 27 Sept 1713; m. (intention dated 28 May 17*3) Huldah Locke.

iv. Jonathan, b. 19 May 1718; m. 26 Feb. 1740 Kezia Converse of Woburn, d. 1808; d. 1803. Probably in 1754 moved to Woolwich, Me. His first child was b. at Wobum, second, Robert,1 b. at Lexington 3 July 1742. He had nine children.

v. Alice, b. 4 Mar. 1720; d. at Burlington 4 May 1800.

vi. Amos, b. 1 July 1722; d. about 1750.

vii. Ezekiel, b. 1 Aug. 1728; m. 17 June 1760 Mas. Mahy (Reed) Locke. They had one child.

8. JACOB REED (Timothy 3, George 2, William 1), born at Woburn 31 Jan. 1716, died at Woburn 20 July 1805. He dwelt at the Duren Place at Woburn near the Lexington line. He hired a substitute in the French War. He was named in a list of members of the Woburn First Church 1 Dec. 1777. He married 19 June 1744 ELIZABETH FRENCH of Billerica, born 19 Feb. 1722–23, died 7 Aug. 1811, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Davis).

iv. ELIZABETH, b. 18 Apr. 1750; m. 7 Apr. 1778 John 5 Tidd.

v. SARAH, b. 5 July 1752; d. 17 Nov. 1822.

vi. Amos, b. 14 May 1754; m. 7 Oct. 1781 LYDIA SIMONDs of Woburn, d. at Salem 17 Aug. 1850, in her 90th y.; d. at Danvers 9 Oct. 1812.
