About Jacob Christopher Springer
This Jacob never left Sweden.[1] It has been proven that the genealogical book by Moses C. Springer was a complete fraud.
First, Jacob Springer, the presumed brother of Charles Springer, was born, lived, died and is buried in Sweden. This was proven long ago by Cortland B. Springer. Lawrence Springer of Little Compton, Rhode Island, was born and baptized in Barbados in the West Indies, the son of John and Margaret Springer of England and Barbados. There was, indeed, a Lars Springer, sometimes Laretz, but he was born, lived, died, and is buried in Sweden. To my knowledge, there is no evidence that any of Charles' siblings were ever in America.
Jacob, the son of Christopher Springer and Beata Salina was born and died in Sweden
