Jacobus Myburgh

His father, Johannes Albertus, owned Meerlust, which was passed on to eldest son (Jacobus' elder brother) Philippus Albertus.

Jacobus was apparently born at Eenzaamheid, according to a MyHeritage record.

Cape Dutch Houses and Farms (C. de Bosdari) says that Eenzaamheid was occupied by the Myburgh family since 1764... But at some point, Jacobus' sister, Hester, who married into the Briers family, acquired the farm. Hester Anna Briers
