Jacobus "Koos" van Staden (1940 - 2010)

Brief overview:

Koos (69), was shot dead on 3rd February 2010, while sitting with his wife Henriette (66), by an unknown number of attackers. The perpetrators broke into the couple's home on Glencoe Sugar Estates outside Hoedspruit, Limpopo. They fired two shots hitting van Staden in the back of the neck. Henriette shot back, but the attackers had fled, taking nothing. Police, trackers and the K9 unit tried to track the perpetrators.

According to Supt. Provincial police spokesperson Ronel Otto, no one was arrested. Police, trackers and the K9 unit tried to track the perpetrators.
