Jacques, Hereditary Prince of Monaco (Jacques Honoré Rainier, born 10 December 2014) is the son of Albert II, Prince of Monaco and Princess Charlene and heir-apparent to the Monegasque throne. He was born at Monaco's Princess Grace Hospital.[1]
The Princely Palace of Monaco released a statement describing how the birth was to be celebrated in the principality. Forty-two cannon shots (twenty-one for each child) were fired from the Fort Antoine and church bells rang for fifteen minutes, followed by boat horns. The day was declared a public holiday in Monaco.
Jacques is younger than his sister Gabriella by two minutes. They have an older half-sister, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, and an older half-brother, Éric Alexandre Stéphane Coste, from their father's relationships with Tamara Rotolo and Nicole Coste.
He inherited the title Marquis of Baux from his father.
Titles and styles[edit] Jacques is styled as "His Serene Highness The Hereditary Prince of Monaco, Marquis of Baux".
