Über Jakob Hirschmann (Deutsch)

  • 1504, (Schorndorf),1 & um 1527/28,2 Anna Aichmann, * ca. 1505, (Schorndorf). Jakob gestorben: 1581, Schorndorf.3 Imm. Wien ... Steuert 1545 aus 7500 fl. (Drittreichster). Bürgermeister Schorndorf. (Weiteres zu seinem Leben s. BWFK II/1, S. 1ff.). [nach Todt/Schweizer 2017] A close examination of Schorndorf parish record prove that Jacob Hirschman's second wife was Praxedis Binder, widow of Jost Kindsvatter. Praxedis had a daughter Agnes, who married Joachim Binder (called Jacob Hirschmann' son in law in 1567,document). German historian Friedrich Faber assumed that Praxedis Binder, widow and later wife of a Hirschmann in Schorndorf was married to Michael Hirschmann but it can now be proven that she was married to Jacob and they probably parents of Michael and Ludwig, who were enobled in 1606 by Emperor Rudolph. There is absolutely no documentation or record showing that they were sons of Jacob's son Georg. There is in fact no documentary record of Georg ever living in Schorndorf.
