About James M Cannaday
James M. Cannaday, 77, retired, died at the home of his son, Frank O. Cannaday, 1228 East Adams St., Thursday at 8 a.m. after a three weeks' illness. Mr. Cannaday was born in Henry County, but had been a resident of Muncie 42 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at Mt. Pleasant Church, southeast of Muncie, at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Survivors are the widow, Laura; two sons, Fred J. and Frank O. Cannaday; a daughter, Mrs. William Gillian of Muncie; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Harvey and Mrs. Ella Brown, both of Indianapolis; a brother, W.S. Cannaday of Florence, Ala.; and five grandchildren.
The body was taken to Meeks Mortuary and will be returned to the residence Friday morning.
