Funeral services for James W Dodd, 66, were conducted yesterday afternoon at Clay's Funeral home chapel by the Rev D W Nichols, pastor of the Francis Avenue church of Christ. Burial followed in Fairview cemetery.
Mr Dodd died Friday in a local hospital. His home was at Phillips camp where he had resided for the past two years.
Survivors are the widow, seven daughters, Mrs H H Jung, Albany, Mrss R T Spencer, Stinnett, Mrs John S Hill, Cordell, Okla, Mrs John LaPrade, Miss Bessie Estell Dodd, Miss Carolyn Jean Dodd and Miss Jennie Jean Dodd, all of Pampa, two sons, C F Dodd, Olney, I W Dodd, Stroud, Okla, a stepson, D M McCoy, Pampa, two sisters, Mrs T Wilson, Sangaberal, Mrs H B Madden, Olney, and four brothers, Rev John T Dodd, Nashville, Tenn, C L Dodd, Houston, D C Dodd, Bay City and E J Dodd, McMahan.
Pallbearers were B C Blalock, J L Bevington, W J Dewey, E D Umphres, Cliff Horn, R O Dewery.
