From a private letter - "Our grandfather, James Foster, moved from Indiana to Arkansas to a small town called Wild Cherry - Aunt Ella & I visited one summer. It was a large log cabin with a sleeping room upstairs - where the boys slept (6 boys - 2 girls). What the exact date was I don't know."

OTHER: There is a Power of Atty issued to James N. Foster, of Putnam Co., IN, by his sisters, Mary F. Ashby and Elizabeth Margaret Ashby, both of Douglas Co., KS, on 3 Mar 1864. Misc. Record 1, p 178, and Probate Order Book 5, p. 542.
