James Carrico Goff is my 4th GGF and not my 5th Great Uncle from Steve Barnhouse!! Libby Goff was his daughter born in 1805. Libby married my 3rd GGF Solomon D. Barnhouse Jan 17 1829. I have proof of that. Libby's mother was Elizabeth Howell Goff. She was the last person to marry James C. Goff. He married Elizabeth Howell in 1798. James was married 3 times and maybe more. Another confusing facet to this was Libby had a sister named of all names ,Elizabeth who was born in 1813. This tree is MESSED UP!
