Jim Dover, 71, husband of Mrs. Mamie Peterson Dover,
Smyrna Route 1, died at 12:40 a.m. Saturday at Cherokee County Memorial Hospital.
A retired farmer; member of Unity Baptist Church.
Also surviving; sons Jim of the home, Finely of Smyrna Route 1, Palmer of Hickory Grove, daughters, Misses Susie and Bessie, both of the home; brother Monroe of York; sister Mrs. Cleo Childers of Sharon, five grandchildren.
Services Monday Unity Baptist Church, the Revs. Lloyd Brownee,George Hambright and B.G. Moss; burial in church cemetery.
