About James W. Little
Family tradition from descendants of Thomas May Little says that James and Elizabeth traveled on horseback from Kentucky to north Alabama with three small children, Mary, Tom and Reuben, carried in their saddlebags. (In 1829, when they are believed to have migrated, the children would have been too large to carry in saddlebags.)
James died from a fall off a fence into a deep ditch in Alabama.
