About James Logan
James Logan – Find-a-grave records show James as being buried in the Logan Cemetery, and his exact birth and death dates are given (30 Aug 1772 – Dec 1824). It appears that this entry is a “virtual grave;” I do not know the documentation for this info, or even if there is documentation, but it may have come from a family Bible – I just don’t know. I have not seen any documentation for even a birth year. The entry on Find-a-Grave gives the same birthdate for James and his assumed brother, Andrew. If this is correct, then John and Andrew were twins. John died before 1850; he is not found with his wife in the census. He may have been born between 1770 and 1777, for his wife, Nancy, was born in 1776, and this is supported by the age on the census’ of 1800 and 1810. If he was born in the 1770s, then he is very likely a son of Francis and Hannah Logan. I am looking for someone who has that family Bible – if it exists.
