James W. “Nug” Mangum, 81, died Saturday, March 19, 2016, at his home in Hillsborough. Mr. Mangum was born in Durham, NC, son of the late Spencer Mangum and Thelma Caroll Mangum.
He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Morgan Sykes; and brothers, Mike Mangum,
Mr. Mangum is survived by his daughter, Donna Mangum Sykes and husband, Ed; grandchildren, Ashley Johnson and husband, Ben, Devin Sykes; and sister, Wanda Lloyd and husband, Vernon.
The family will receive friends at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall Tuesday, March 22nd starting at 11am.
