James McDonald “Mott” Miller, 50, of Crestwood died Wednesday, March 27, 1985 at the Jewish Hospital, Louisville. He was a retired automotive Mechanic for Doug Wearren Nurseries, Crestwood; a native of Estill County and the family have been residents of the Oldham County area for many years.

He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Kathleen Walker Miller, Crestwood; six daughters: Mrs. Bobby (Teresa) Brown, Lockport, Mrs. Mackie (Verna Katherine) Pettit, LaGrange, Mrs. Ronnie ( Janet Marie) Brown, Simpsonville, Mrs. George (Karen Lynn) McCoy, Lockport, Mrs. Henry (Dorothy) Taylor, Eminence and Miss Doris Jean Miller, Eminence; four sons: James E. “Jimmy” Miller, Cropper, Alan K. Miller, Pleasureville, Anthony R. Miller, Pleasureville and William J. Miller, Crestwood; two sisters: Mrs. Hubert (Vivian) Woosley, LaGrange and Mrs. Marjorie Rison, Crestwood; two brothers:

E. J. Miller, LaGrange and Franklin Miller, Prospect and sixteen grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 30th at the Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange. Brother Wayne Kelly, pastor of the Lockport Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.
