James Newcomb*

James Newcomb was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a graduate of Bosse High School and the University of Evansville.

He played basketball in both high school amd college. Upon graduation, Jim taught and coached in the Indianapolis school system.

After a successful career as an educator, Jim entered the securities and insurance industry, starting integrated Asset Management and Development, He also headed a real estate company serving as general contractor for numerous multi-family projects. He also built many single family homes doing business as Great American Homes in Evansville, Indiana and Henderson, Kentucky. Most recently he was involved in auto sales for Kenny Kent Toyota and started Dealer Development Dynamics, a Sales Training and Management concept.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
