William does have a daughter Mary,, however she is married at this time and living in Ennismore. (Cornelius Doherty). She could possibly be a niece or even a d-i-l?? Also listed residing there are James' parents,, Sam and Ellen Pierson,, both listed at age 47,,together with his siblings:: William,,A18,, Daniel,,A17,,Ellen,,A13 and Mary,,A9.

Son Daniel,, A23,, his wife Catherine,,A22 and their 3 children to date are also living there - - a "4 generation" household.

1881 Canada Census:: Lists James Pearson,,A35,, single,, still living in his grandfathers' home,, together with his parents,, Samuel,, A71 and Ellen,, A61 and his brother,,William,,A36 and his sisters,, Mary,, A31 an Susen,, A29. William Casey,, A100,, is also still living.

Jan. 22, 1883:: James,,A36 marries Mary Reed(Reid),, age 32,, at Fenelon Falls,, Ontario. Daughter of Daniel Reed and Alles Hoolihan. Witnesses are Michael Mansfield and Bridget Reed. They move onto property 4 families away from her parents on the Reed Rd.

Nov. 15,, 1887:: Mother Ellen dies 8 months after her husband. The homestead at Lot 27,, Conc. A is left equally to sons James and Wiiliam. James,, who at this time,, already owns property,, sells his half to Samuel Faulkner in June,, 1888,, for $200.00 while William sells his half to Noel Rivers in April,, 1888,, for $400.00.

1891 Canada Census,, Galway:: James,,A45 and Mary,,A37,, together with 5 children,,, the last 2 being twins.

1901 Canada Census,, Galway:: James,,A56 and Mary,,A48,, together with 5 children. Lenin,,A17,, Maggret,,A15,, Samuel,,A12,, Mary and James,, both age 10.

Aug. 24,, 1901:: Mrs. James Pearson dies at Galway,, Ontario,, after an illness lasting 3 weeks. The children are 18,, 16,, 13 & the twins,, 11. Celebrant is Rev. Father J. O'Leary. Witnesses are John Allen and James Pearson. Mother in law Alice Reid dies in October,, also buried in Galway Cemetery.

1911 Canada Census,, Galway:: Lists James Pearson,, widower,, A65,, born Mar., 1846,, residing in the home of Catherine Clark, A46 and William Clarke, A45,, together with their 5 children:: Margaret, William, Cathleen, Helen and Zetta,, ages 17,,12,,9,,7 and 0. This is Lot 2,, Conc. 16,, Galway. He is listed as a lodger. Catherine (Read) would have been his wife,, Mary’s,, sister. As well,, James would also be an uncle to William Clarks' sisters' husband,,, William Samual (Sam) Pearson.
