[Joseph Parsons came from Torrington, Devonshire, England, to Springfield, Mass,, 1636. He married November 26, 1646, Mary Bliss, daughter of Thomas Buss, from England. She died January 29, 1712, aged ninety-two. He was cornet of the troop of horse, and died October 9, 1683.

Second Generation, Joseph Parsons, born November 1, 1647, married March 17, 1669, Elizabeth Strong, daughter of John Strong, of Windsor, Conn. He died November 29, 1729. She died May 12, 1736.

Third Generation, Ebenezer Parsons, born December 31, 1675, married December 15, 1703, Mary Stebbins.

Roland Stebbins came from Ipswich, England, with wife Sarah, to Ipswich, Mass., 1634 ; Northampton, Mass. Died December 14, 1671.

Second Generation, John Stebbins, born in England, 1626, married December 17, 1657, Abigail Bartlett, daughter of Robert Bartlett, of Hartford, Conn., from England. He died March 7, 1679. Mrs. Abigail Stebbins died July 15, 1689.

Third Generation, Samuel Stebbins, born January 21, 1659, married March 4, 1678, Mary French, daughter of John French, of Northampton, Mass. She died January 26, 1697. He died September 3, 1732.

Fourth Generation, Mercy Stebbins, born February 12, 1683, married Ebenezer Parsons. She died November 1, 1759. He died July 4, 1744.

Fourth Generation, Benjamin Parsons, born October 12, 1723, married December, 1749, Rebecca Sheldon.

Isaac Sheedon, from England to Windsor, Conn., 1640, married Mary Woodford.

Second Generation, Thomas Sheldon, born , married, 1685, Mary Hinsdale.

Third Generation, Benjamin Sheldon, born , 1697, married June 12, 1723, Mary Strong, daughter of Ebenezer Strong.

Fourth Generation, Rebecca Sheldon, born , 1730, married Benjamin Parsons.

Fifth Generation, Ebenezer Parsons, born December 26, 1751, married Eunice Clark, daughter of Samuel Clark, of Northampton, Mass.

Sixth Generation, Susannah Parsons, born September 17, 1806, married J. B. Porter. He was a merchant in Hadley, Mass. She died May 27, 1874. ]
