Born 1869/70 Port Clarence, Hartlepool - 1871 census.

Marriage Certificate - married to Ada 1906

Death Certificate, M'bro. Died 12/3/1926 at St Barnabas Workhouse premises, it also had an Infirmary - still looking into that.

1911 census, he lived in North Ormesby with his wife and family and an Aunt called Maria Boyd. Maria comes from Lisdoonvarna in Ireland.

1901 census - can't find him anywhere yet, still looking.

1891 census, page 7, District 60, Linthorpe, Yorkhire. Still living in M'bro with his parents and his brother John.

1881 census, page 31, District 40, Linthorpe, Yorkshire. Living in M'bro with his parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 1 Uncle (James) and this is also where Bridget Riley (James's Gran) appears on record.

1871 census, page 19, District 9, Throston, Durham. (this is Hartlepool), living in H'pool with his parents, 1 brother, 1 sister. Patrick and Maria Boyd were lodging there. Maria crops up in the 1911 census living with James and Ada in North Ormesby.
